Refund policy

Statements made about increasing the learning transfer are based on the proven principles of adult learning, but are NOT guarantees of outcomes or performance. Participants who effectively put the principles into practice can anticipate significant gains in learning transfer, but no guarantee of doubling or tripling impact can be made. The determining factors of outcomes include but are not limited to 1) The trainer's ability to master and deliver training using the principles of adult learning, 2) some types of training and change are harder and produce lower or slower learning transfer, others are easier and produce higher learning transfer, and 3) some participant audiences are more intellectually and psychologically able to learn faster than others, again, depending on the topic, and 4) the trainer's ability to correctly assess the changes needed to produce learning transfer and target those changes effectively. The principles taught have a long-track record of producing high quality results in learning transfer. Given the fact that the principles taught are seldom used effectively in the North American church, the outcomes described should generally be reasonable and reachable, but not guaranteed.

Publicly Offered Seminar Refund Policy

A publicly offered seminar is one in which open registration is offered to the public.

Full refunds for a seminar registration may be obtained within fourteen days of the purchase as long as it is forty-five days before the seminar begins. 

Purchases of a seminar registration within forty-five days of the start of the seminar will not be refunded. If an emergency or other situation requires you to miss the seminar, you must inform 5Minutes2Lead™ in writing in order to receive a credit toward the next seminar.

  • If written notice of not being able to attend the seminar is received fifteen or more days ahead of the seminar, you will receive full credit for the next seminar you attend.
  • If written notice of not being able to attend the seminar is received fourteen days or less before the event begins, you will be charged two-hundred dollars ($200) to register for a future seminar.

Seminar Cancellation

If the seminar does not receive the minimum required registrations forty-five days in advance, the seminar may be cancelled or rescheduled, and you will be notified in writing.  You will have the option of:

  • Receiving a full refund, or
  • Receiving a full credit for a future seminar that you can register for at your convenience.

Privately Offered Seminar Refund Policy

Privately offered seminars are those in which an organization or a group contracts with 5Minutes2Lead™, LLC to run a seminar solely for your group and it is not advertised for public registration. 

Upon a signed agreement, the organization will pay half of the training/consulting fee. A two-thirds refund may be obtained if cancellation is made sixty days prior to the start of the event, minus any consulting hours already completed at the rate of one-hundred fifty dollars ($150) per hour plus any reasonable expenses incurred by 5Minutes2Lead™, LLC. 

Full payment is required thirty days prior to the event.

Should emergency circumstances on the part of the facilitator(s) or your organization result in cancellation either:

  • A full refund of any payments, minus already billed hours at the rate of one-hundred fifty dollars ($150) plus reasonable expenses, will be made, or
  • The event will be rescheduled.

Purchase of Licensed Downloadable Training Material

A refund of purchased downloadable licensed material will not be made. All sales are final. Purchasing licensed downloadable materials means you agree to the licensing terms.

Consulting Agreements

Once a consulting agreement is signed, it becomes valid upon receipt of half of the agreed cost of the contract, minus any variable hourly billable fees** that may be written into the contract. 

A refund of the first half down payment may be received if the contract is terminated within thirty days and not less than forty-five days prior to the commencement of work according to the following terms: Two-thirds refund of fees.

Any variable billable fees (if written into the contract) that have already been completed will be paid at the full hourly rate agreed upon.

Any reasonable expenses already incurred will be subtracted from the refund, including, but not limited to, printing, non-refundable transportation, or housing expenses.

Coaching Fees

Coaching fees are due upon booking of an appointment. Cancellation of the appointment not less than seven days prior to the appointment will receive a fifty percent refund. Less than seven days prior to the appointment, there will be no refund, but the coaching meeting may be rescheduled within sixty days.  If the coaching meeting is not rescheduled within sixty days, that coaching appointment is cancelled, and no refund will be given. Any future coaching appointments will incur the normal additional charge of a newly booked coaching appointment.

Training Design Work

Training design work is contracted by project and defined by a scope of work. All training design is billed hourly with a minimum retainer of 2000 dollars up front. Any cancellation of a training design contract will incur payment of all billable hours at the contractually agreed upon rate plus one-thousand dollars.

**Variable billing fees are hourly fees for work that are not included in the core scope of work or are specifically mentioned in a contract as being billed hourly in addition to the overall contract amount.
